Closest Coffee Shops?

Everyone craves that morning fix. I'm not talking about illegal substances here folks. I'm referring to the good stuff. The caffeine infused beverage that sends our noses to heaven at the first sent or freshly ground beans. Ahh, let the aroma relax you and better your mood. Soon you will be sipping on a java drink of your choice. Hey, maybe even two or three. It all depends on that craving and how quickly it gets satisfied. Thank the lord for infinite coffee shops caffeine concoctions. Now, who's up for a creme brule latte?

Today is all about selection. When it comes to coffeeshops and java beverages, you can definitely take your pick. If you're like most of us, you probably already have a favorite. That single drink you prefer on a daily basis. It never gets old, and you yearn for it by the time the sun pops up. Now, my question is; which coffee shops are the best? This is an excellent query indeed. The largest chains you probably encounter are Starbuck's, Gloria Jeans and Seattle's Best. All offer fairly uniform coffee drinks, hot and cold. Chances are you'll find something suitable in any of them. On the other hand, none of these famous coffee shops satisfy me to the fullest.

Coffee Shops or Coffee Houses?

I yearn for a cup of fresh java that has a distinct flavor of freshly roasted beans. Now, at this point you're probably thinking that most coffee houses grind their beans right in front of you when they prepare the espresso. This is true. But, when were those coffee beans roasted? Was it last month, or have they been sitting on some shelf for a year? This is a pertinent question to keep in mind. It certainly concerns how your latte will taste. A good batch of coffee beans should be no more than two weeks old. This means they were roasted rather recently. CoffeeShops or CoffeeHouses? The one that has the best quality and fresh beans wins.

The next time you're in one of the infinitecoffee shops for that routine fix, go ahead and ask the barista when the coffee beans were roasted. Unless he or she's the owner, they probably won't have a clue. If you can find a coffee house where they do know, it's probably one worth your four or five bucks. You'll immediately taste the difference. Coffeeshops or Coffeehouses? Who cares. Fresh quality beans are the key element to me.
